What is “My Items,” and how does it work?
“My Items” is your virtual shopping list. Simply choose “Save for later” instead of “Add to cart” and you’ll store a list of the items you frequently order for easy re-ordering next time. Accessing your shopping lists the next time you order is a snap. Just view your list in “My account,” then add them to the cart. Create as many shopping lists as you need.
.

What do I need to know about your prices?
Some items have quantity discounts listed under the regular price. The quantity discount will automatically kick in when your order reaches the specified quantity. Shipping charges are not included in list price but can be calculated prior to check out. Regularly, we send out email specials with discounts on certain items or promotional codes. To take advantage of these specials, sign up for the G&B email newsletter.
.

Is there a minimum order quantity or order amount?
No. We don’t hesitate to break boxes to get you the quantities you need – whether large or small.
.

What are the payment terms?
We are happy to accept several forms of payment:
Cash, Check or Major Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also offer Net 30 with approved credit. Click here to download our Credit Application. .

Is there a sales tax?
Sales tax will be charged on orders shipped to: Washington, California, Idaho, Ohio, Kansas, Nebraska and Kentucky.
.

Are there any fees that I should be aware of?
All open accounts over 30 days past due are subject to a 1 1/2% per month or 18% per year service charge. Returned check fee is $25.00. All returns and exchanges are subject to a minimum of 15% restocking fee. A $3.50 handling charge is added to each order.
.

What are your shipping and handling policies?
With products ranging from fixtures that need to be crated to the tiniest price tags, we offer many shipping configurations. Our goal is to ship all orders the most economical way possible while safeguarding the integrity of the product. We have several different shipping options available to our customers but our primary shipping method is UPS ground. Unlike many companies, Grand & Benedicts doesn’t mark up the cost of the shipping. We pass on the actual cost with a handling charge of $3.50. Our handling charge is one of the lowest in the industry and is intended to cover some of the cost of packaging and processing the order. Presently, our website is not able to calculate shipping charges upfront. Your shipping amount will be determined at the point of shipping your order. We hope to have an online shipping calculator that provides shipping charges upfront available soon. In the meantime, you can rest assured we will ship your order the most economical way possible.

Why was my shipping charge so high?
If you find your shipping charge high it can be due to several reasons. Some common reasons are: 1) Heavy or bulky merchandise that impose a UPS additional handling charge; 2) Merchandise that requires special packaging to prevent breakage; 3) A delivery area surcharge due to a remote destination. UPS also charges a residential surcharge for non-commercial addresses. Grand & Benedicts doesn’t mark up the cost of the shipping to the customer. We pass on the actual UPS cost with an additional handling charge of $3.50. Our handling charge is one of the lowest in the industry and is intended to cover some of the cost of packaging and processing the order.

Truck shipments
All items with a purple truck icon exceed UPS limits for size and weight and ship via common carrier Freight Collect. For truck or express shipments, please call 800.547.7005 for a quote. Grand & Benedicts has discounted freight rates with several common carriers. If you don’t have a preferred carrier, we can select the most economical one. If you have a preferred freight carrier, please specify the carrier at checkout in the “Instructions” field. If your order ships “Prepaid and add” you will receive two separate invoices: A first invoice is for merchandise when the order ships and a second invoice is for freight once we have received a bill from the freight carrier (usually 2-3 weeks later). Please note that a crating charge is applied to certain large items. Since the origin of the shipment may vary, some orders may not be shipped together. We ship out of four warehouses located in OR, WA, CA and OH and certain orders can be drop-shipped directly from a manufacturer.

Handling Charge

.

How soon can I expect my order?
With the largest, most extensive inventory of store fixtures, we fill most orders the same day. Occasionally, we underestimate the popularity of an item and run out of stock. In those cases, one of our customer service representatives will contact you directly with more information about your order. We do not charge your account until the order ships. If you need it faster than same-day shipping, express shipments are available upon request. Please indicate your choice of shipping method in the “Shipping method” field at check out.
.

How do I check the status of my order?
When we ship your order, we will email you a tracking number you can use to check the status of your order online on the Track Orders page of the G&B website. Feel free to contact customer service at 800.547.7005 or by email if you have any questions.
.

How do I file a freight claim?
We pack your order as carefully as possible, but damages sometimes happen. Each carrier has its own policies and methods of filing claims:

UPS
Keep original packaging, merchandise and packing materials. To file UPS Claims, call 1-800-PICK-UPS (800-742-5877), contact your driver, or initiate the claim on the UPS website.

FedEx
Call 1-800-GO-FEDEX (800-463-3339), contact your driver, or obtain a FedEx Express control number or a FedEx Ground damaged call tag confirmation number from FedEx online. Claims on concealed, lost or damaged shipments must be made within 10 days of the delivery date.

Common Carrier
Retain packing slip and note any visible damage on freight bill at the time of delivery. Call freight carrier for an inspection, then call our shipping department to file a freight claim. If shortages occur, sign the receiving documents for only those pieces actually received, and notify your carrier immediately.

Merchandise damaged after arrival
For merchandise damaged internally, please notify Grand & Benedicts at 800.547.7005 immediately for return, refund, or replacement. No returns are accepted without a return authorization number. Although our responsibility ceases when shipments are accepted by a carrier’s agent, we will extend every possible assistance in clearing up claims for our customers.

How do I return a product?
Return or exchange items within 60 days of receipt for a refund less a minimum 15% restocking fee. To get a refund, products must not have been used and must also be returned in original carton. We cannot accept return of non-stock items or custom orders. Grand & Benedicts reserves the right to accept or refuse returned items to our stock. Please call our customer service department toll free at 800.547.7005 for a Return Authorization number. Ship returned goods to us freight prepaid with the Return Authorization number and the proof of purchase.
