Slatwall is one of the most popular retail displays because it converts walls into a complete merchandising system. Slatwall is usually sold in sheet sizes of 4’ x 8’, but can be special ordered in custom sizes. The Slatwall panels are 3/4" thick and include 16 horizontal grooves per sheet 3" on center.
Can I cut the Slatwall to fit my space?
For a nominal fee, we will cut the Slatwall panels for you. If you want to do it yourself, the Slatwall can be cut with either a skill saw or table saw. A high-quality carbide trimming blade with 60-80 teeth is recommended.
How can I customize the look of Slatwall to match the colors in my store?
First of all, you can choose between a wide spectrum of Slatwall finishes, from Sierra Maple, Frost White, Linn Birch to Wild Cherry. If you can’t find the finish you are looking for, chances are we can special order the color for you. To further customize the look of your Slatwall, we recommend ColorSnaps and Vinyl inserts available in different colors. ColorSnaps are plastic inserts that snap into the grove. Vinyl inserts are sold on a roll. Simply cut a piece and slide it in. Add an Edge Molding for a finished look.

How do I secure the Slatwall to the wall?
Slatwall panels can be mounted over existing walls, such as sheet rock paneling, or can be mounted directly to the studs. In either application, a panel adhesive is strongly recommended. You will need approximately twenty four 1-1/2” sheet rock screws per 4’ x 8 panel.
